LGD GAMING beat FlyQuest 1–0 (Demacia, October 3).
LGD Gaming beat FlyQuest in a one game meeting at Demacia, finishing 22 kills to 2 with a lead of roughly 14,500 gold. Most of that damage came through Shaoye's Lucian. He went 10/0/6, almost half of LGD's kills, and Crisp's Milio was part of nearly every fight, ending on 17 assists. Tangyuan's Anivia added 4/1/12 from the mid lane, and Heng's Shyvana went 4/0/9 in the jungle. The kills came from all over the map, so FlyQuest had no single lane they could shore up.
Objectives went the same way. LGD took three dragons, nine towers and a Baron, while FlyQuest secured no dragons and no Barons. Burdol's K'Sante held the front line at 4/1/8 and helped turn LGD's fights into map control. FlyQuest's engage and peel struggled most. Gryffinn's Trundle was caught six times and finished 0/6/0. Cryogen's Nautilus also died six times, ending 0/6/2. With their jungler and support repeatedly picked off, FlyQuest had little chance to contest the neutral objectives, and LGD kept taking towers until the base fell.
FlyQuest's best output came from the top lane. Gakgos scored both of the team's kills on Rumble and finished 2/4/0, and FlyQuest took one tower over the whole game. Quad's Ryze died only twice but ended with a single assist, and Massu's Senna finished 0/4/0, with the bottom lane unable to find room against Shaoye and Crisp.
