Natus Vincere beat FlyQuest 2–0 (Demacia, October 5).
Natus Vincere swept FlyQuest 2-0, and Poby was the reason the series never got loose. Game 1 was close on the scoreboard, 17 kills to 15, with plenty of trades going both ways. FlyQuest's K'Sante, Gakgos, held his own in the top half of the map at 4/3/5, and Massu's Kalista found four kills. Natus Vincere's damage, though, ran through two sturdier sources. Poby's Syndra finished 5/1/7, almost never giving FlyQuest a target to collapse on. SamD's Lucian led the game with 7 kills. Parus kept the whole thing stitched together on Milio, dying once while racking up 16 assists, so nearly every fight Natus Vincere took ended with their carries still standing. Maynter's Rumble absorbed the punishment at 2/5/11, but he was present for almost everything his team did.
Game 2 tilted further toward Natus Vincere through objectives. Rhilech's Xin Zhao went 5/2/12 and pulled the map toward the dragon pit, where Natus Vincere took four drakes to FlyQuest's one. They added the only Baron of the game and pushed down eight towers against five. Poby was again the steadiest player on the Rift, going 6/1/10 on Orianna. Parus's Seraphine added 6 kills and 14 assists. FlyQuest's best hope was Massu, whose Mel posted 7/2/5 and kept them within reach of 15 kills. The front of their composition struggled to hold, however. Gakgos's Jayce and Cryogen's Pyke each died seven times, which repeatedly left Massu without cover. By the end Natus Vincere led by roughly 6,800 gold. Over the two games Poby finished 11/2/17, and Parus contributed 30 assists across the series.
