Full Worlds schedule →LYON drew first blood in the series by winning the opener 10 kills to 4. The damage came from the bottom half of the map and the mid lane: Berserker's Kalista finished 4/0/4, Saint's Ahri went 3/0/6, and Inspired's Xin Zhao and Isles' Renata Glasc piled up 8 and 9 assists as LYON kept turning skirmishes into kills. Gen.G could not get its carries going. Chovy's Anivia ended 0/3/1, Ruler's Jhin managed a single kill, and Kiin's Rumble at 2/1/1 was one of the few Gen.G players to hold his ground. Dhokla's Olaf traded evenly with 2 kills against 3 deaths, which was enough for LYON to take the lead.
Gen.G answered in Game 2 with a 16 to 9 kill score. Ruler took over on Ashe with a 7/2/7 line, and Kiin's Ambessa added 5 kills from the top side. Canyon's Nocturne and Duro's Seraphine each logged 12 assists, and Chovy's Lissandra contributed 10, so nearly every Gen.G kill involved the whole team. LYON's best performer was Saint, whose Akali scored 5 kills to keep the game competitive. Inspired's Vi went 1/5/6, though, and LYON couldn't keep pace with Gen.G's coordinated fights.
The decider ended 15 to 7. Gen.G took 3 dragons to LYON's 2, neither team took Baron, and Gen.G led by roughly 6,200 gold at the end. Ruler's Ezreal led with 5 kills, Chovy's Galio added 4, and Canyon's Jayce finished 3/1/11 alongside Kiin's Camille at 3/1/9. Duro's Nautilus set up the fights with 9 assists. Saint did his part again, with his Tristana scoring 4 of LYON's 7 kills, but Berserker's Lucian went 1/4/2 and LYON's damage dried up. Across the three games, Ruler totaled 13 kills and Canyon racked up 26 assists.
