MVK Esports beat FURIA 3–1 in the Worlds 2026 Play-Ins on October 17.
MVK Esports opened the series through Kratos, whose Zaahen ran over the top side at 8/1/8 while Guigo's Camille struggled to a 1/7/4 line. Gury's Jarvan IV and SiuLoong's Lulu kept setting up fights, racking up 17 and 15 assists, and Chika's Cassiopeia added 5/1/11. FURIA's carries, Tutsz on Syndra and Ayu on Lucian, finished with two kills apiece. Game 2 moved the damage to the bottom lane. Harky's Jhin took over with nine kills, backed by SiuLoong's Bard on 13 assists and Chika's Kog'Maw at 4/2/7. Guigo's Ambessa went 0/6/1, leaving Tutsz's Viktor at 4/3/2 as FURIA's main source of pressure.
Facing elimination, FURIA turned Game 3 around through Ayu. His Miss Fortune finished 12/0/3, and JoJo's Seraphine had a hand in nearly every fight with 16 assists. Tatu's Skarner added 4/3/9 and Guigo's Rumble contributed nine assists. The MVK bot lane had a rough game: SiuLoong's Leona went 0/6/4 and Harky's Ziggs 1/5/5, while Kratos managed 2/3/0 on K'Sante.
MVK regrouped for Game 4 with Kratos on Olaf, Gury on Wukong, Chika on Ryze, Harky on Corki and SiuLoong on Shen, and this time FURIA got very little room. Harky's Corki led the way at 8/2/6, Chika's Ryze went 6/2/7, and SiuLoong's Shen picked up 19 assists by joining fights across the map. Gury's Wukong finished 4/0/7. MVK took six towers to FURIA's one, both of the first two dragons, and the only Baron, finishing roughly 11,600 gold ahead. Guigo's Jax put up 4/3/2 and kept fighting to the end, but FURIA could only take a single dragon and one tower against the pressure. MVK Esports won the series 3-1.
