BNK FEARX outlasted Beijing JDG Esports 3-2, and it was BFXVicLa who opened the series in style. His Locke went 10/1/5 in Game 1, carrying a 19 to 13 kill game alongside BFXTaeyoon's Kalista (6/3/9). BFXKellin's Renata Glasc piled up 17 assists. JDG answered hard in Game 2. JDGxiaofang took over from the jungle on Jarvan IV, finishing 8/2/12, and JDG ran away with a 20 to 7 kill count. JDGVampire's Milio added 14 assists, and BFX's Syndra and Jhin combined for a single kill.

The middle games were close and the teams split them. In Game 3, BFXRaptor's Lee Sin led BFX at 5/2/2. JDGXiaoxu's Renekton traded evenly at 4/4/0, and the kill count ended 15 to 13 in JDG's favor. Game 4 was just as tight. JDGXiaoxu surged on Jax with a 6/1/3 line, while BFXRaptor's Poppy (3/1/5) and BFXVicLa's Mel (4/2/2) kept BFX in contact. JDG edged the kills 12 to 9, and the series went to a decider at 2-2.

Game 5 belonged to BFX. BFXRaptor's Olaf ran through JDG at 4/1/6, BFXTaeyoon's Ezreal posted 5/2/7, and BFXKellin's Leona set up fights for 11 assists. JDG's jungle had no answer, with JDGxiaofang's Viego dying five times and never landing a kill. BFX took three dragons to one, secured the only Baron, and destroyed six towers while JDG took none. The gold lead grew to roughly 7,600. JDGAngel did everything he could on Akali, going 6/1/0 and scoring almost all of JDG's kills, but the rest of his team could not turn those picks into map control.
