Team Vitality had kt Rolster on the ropes early. In Game 1 their skirmishers took over the map. VITLyncas went 5/1/9 on Qiyana, VITCarzzy put up 5/1/8 on Xayah, and VITFIESTA's Orianna added five kills as Vitality won the kill count 16 to 8. KTCuzz's Pantheon was caught four times. Game 2 was bloodier, 22 kills to 16, but it went the same direction. VITFIESTA led the way with eight kills on Syndra, VITNaakNako bullied the top side on Ambessa at 6/1/8, and VITFleshy's Alistar had a hand in 19 kills. KTJiwoo's Ezreal kept kt in fights with seven kills, but it wasn't enough to stop Vitality going up 2-0.

Facing elimination, kt changed the series. Game 3 was a 17-2 rout. KTJiwoo's Miss Fortune went 6/1/5, KTBdd ran the mid lane on Taliyah at 5/0/9, and KTCuzz's Vi was at the front of the dives with ten assists. VITNaakNako's Camille was hunted down six times. Game 4 belonged to KTBdd, whose Locke went 9/0/1 in a 15-5 win as Vitality's Cho'Gath and Hwei died ten times between them.

The decider was a tug of war over two different win conditions. Vitality took all four dragons and the only Baron, and VITCarzzy's Aphelios kept them dangerous at 10/4/7, with VITFleshy's Blitzcrank racking up 17 assists. kt kept trading for structures instead, knocking down seven towers to Vitality's two. KTJiwoo's Corki carried the damage at 12/4/6, KTPerfecT split pressure on Jax at 7/2/9, and KTEffort's Maokai and KTCuzz's Xin Zhao combined for 29 assists. kt finished the game roughly 2,800 gold ahead and completed the comeback from 0-2 to win 3-2.
