Team Vitality beat GAM Esports 2–0 (Demacia, October 5).
Naak Nako put Team Vitality on his back from the top lane in Game 1. His Ambessa finished 7/1/3 and led all ten players in kills, while Lyncas on Vi worked alongside him with 3/0/8, and the pair turned Vitality's side of the map into the place where fights started. Carzzy's Kalista added five kills of her own, and Fleshy's Renata Glasc sat at the center of it all with 14 assists, the highest total in the game. Vitality outkilled GAM Esports 18 to 9. Tiphat's Lee Sin went 3/3/4 and Artemis held a level 3/3/3 on Jhin, but the rest of GAM struggled to keep pace. Gloryy's Ryze died five times, and Kiaya's Olaf managed only one kill against Naak Nako across the top side.
Game 2 was a rout. Naak Nako switched to Rumble and went 8/3/10, and Lyncas took his Pantheon all over the map for 7/1/11. Kiaya's Galio was caught again and again, dying ten times. Fleshy's Blitzcrank found the angles that set up kill after kill and ended with 17 assists, and FIESTA's Sylas added six kills in the mid lane. GAM still had players who could fight. Tiphat's Qiyana went 5/3/2 and Artemis scored five kills on Aphelios, but those picks never added up to map control. Vitality racked up 28 kills, took ten towers to GAM's two, won the dragon count two to one and secured the only Baron of the game. They took the Nexus with an advantage of nearly 8 thousand gold to complete the 2-0 sweep.
