MVK Esports swept FURIA 3-0 at Worlds, and they did it by getting stronger with every game. The opener was the closest of the three, an 11 to 10 kill trade that stayed tense throughout. Chika carried the damage on Cassiopeia with a 6/3/1 line, and Harky's Ashe gave the team its engage tools, finishing 0/1/8. FURIA pushed back hard through Guigo, whose Jax went 4/4/2, and Tatu, who kept Trundle healthy at 3/1/3. Every exchange was close, but MVK won the fights that counted.

Game 2 broke open. Kratos took over the map on Rumble with 8/2/13, and Gury matched his kill count on Lee Sin at 8/3/6, the pair turning skirmishes into lopsided wins. SiuLoong's Milio sat behind it all with 20 assists. MVK finished ahead 27 to 13 in kills. Guigo's Ornn took the brunt of the punishment at 0/8/6. Ayu still found damage on Xayah, going 6/7/7, and Tutsz added four kills on Syndra, but FURIA spent most of the game defending.

The third game was a takeover. MVK took all 7 towers FURIA lost, secured the only Baron and two of the three dragons, and FURIA did not take a single turret. Chika's Kog'Maw led with 7/2/10, Gury's Jarvan IV opened fights at 5/2/10, and Harky's Jhin added 5/0/10 from the backline. Guigo's K'Sante and JoJo's Leona both died seven times trying to start fights, and Ayu's Kai'Sa only managed 3/2/1. MVK finished about 10,000 gold ahead. FURIA had sat slightly above them in the power rankings coming in, which makes the clean sweep a small upset.
